Who needs planes when you can have a Full English Breakfast at school? The 14th Thementag of the learners in year 5 (1AN) focused on English and food. The morning included a shared meal, a journey of the senses and lots of speaking activities. Learners had the chance to smell, taste and feel things like avocados, Swiss cheese, grapes, chestnuts, vinegar, cucumbers, olives and eggplants. Our breakfast offered bacon, eggs, orange juice, sausages, tomatoes, butter, mushrooms, toast, jam and baked beans. Many thanks to our young chefs – it was delicious!??
